There are Horse back Safari camps in the Okavango Delta and the Tuli Block. These camps are experienced horse riders and offer fantastic game drives where you can literally walk amongst game as they see you as another animal!
Most camps welcome non horse –riders who are accompanying horse enthusiasts and for these clients – standard game drive and mokoro excursions are offered,

Elephant Back Safaris & Elephant interaction

Abu Camp in the western Okavango is unique as a Okavango Camp offering elephant back game drives. The camp is extremely luxurious with a stunning location and the resident troup of elephants offer the ultimate game drive with raised viewing,
Also within the Okavango Delta at Stanleys Camp, a fantastic opportunity to interact and literally ‘walk’ through the bush with 3 habituated elephants and their guides. The activity is extremely informative and one learns so much first hand interacting with these elephants – its magical!

Quad bike Safaris

The Magadikgadi Pans have become THE place to explore on quad bike as they can go to off the beaten track areas and are considered ‘eco friendly’ as their impact on the environment is not as great as standard game drive areas.
You will set out on your quadbike for excursions during the day and finish at a ready made ‘fly camp’ especially set up for camping under the stars.
Some operators set up tents and other literally put a couple of beds and bedding out so you can gaze at the amazing star lit skies all night!
