 Day 1, 2 & 3: On safari Moremi NP
On arrival at Maun Airport you will be met and assisted by your professional safari guide. We need to leave for Moremi as soon as possible as although we only have 150 kms to travel, this could take up to 5hrs depending on road conditions. We should arrive at our campsite in the late afternoon. Our camp assistants will erect the camp for us while we are out on our first drive. We spend our time in Moremi, doing drives along the Khwai and Xakanaxa areas and its flood plains. Game viewing is good and we should see lion, hippo, elephant and numerous species of antelope and bird life. If we are lucky we may see leopard and wild dog often found in this area. We make the most of this scenic landscape with its diversity of towering forests and open flood plains. We will spend 3 nights in this area on morning and afternoon game drives to explore the area and get some good sightings.
 Day 4 and 5: On safari in Savuti, Chobe National Park
It is a 5 hour drive to Savute, recognized as one of Botswana’s prime game-viewing areas. Savute is dominated by the “Savute marsh” a sweeping expanse of savanna looked over by seven rocky outcrops that guard the relic marsh and the dry channel that was once its lifeline. The area is famous for its numerous bull elephant monopolizing the waterholes. These animals reign supreme, while the lion population and spectacular zebra migrations are a sight to behold. We spend our time exploring the marsh and sitting watching at the busy waterholes.
Day 6 and 7 : On safari along Chobe River
It is a relatively short 4hour drive to our campsite close to the Chobe River. The area famous for its huge elephant and buffalo herds – the highest concentrations of anywhere in the world, these combined with magnificent sunsets, good bird life will leave Chobe etched on your mind forever.
We will get to Chobe in time for lunch, soon after which we will spend the next few hours on the river. Our boat cruise will end just before sunset when we will head back to our pre-erected camp for our last night on safari.
Day 8 : Last day
One more final game drive and then the safari finishes in the border town of Kasane at approximately 11.00am and you will be assisted onto onwards destinations. For example you could take a road transfer for a couple of days in Victoria Falls or be dropped at Kasane airport for your onwards flight.
