This itinerary combines a luxury mobile camping safari combined a night at a Lodge in the Okavango followed by a luxury camping mokoro trail in the southern Delta, finally flying into Maun at the end of the trip. The tour starts in Kasane and is ideal for clients who had started their African trip in the Chobe river, Vic Falls or Zambia area,

The luxury camping safari is taken in a 4WD open sided vehicle with an experienced driver guide and camp assistants. All camp chores and camp set up are arranged by the camp staff. Accommodation in comfortable 3 metre walk- in Dome tents with stretcher beds, bedding, bedside table and individual lights for the tent.

Private campsites are used where possible to avoid interaction with other campers. Toilet and shower tents are erected close to the tents and are shared per 4 persons.

Meals are prepared by the camp staff over a fire and offer hearty brunches after morning game drives and a 3 course dinner at night. Selected drinks are included.

Itinerary

Day 1 -5 : On safari in Savuti a& Moremi NP.
Meet up with Safari crew in Kasane and depart on a 5 night luxury safari to the Savuti area of Chobe NP and Moremi NP. The first 3 nights are spent in the wild open savannas of Savuti, famed for its large lion prides and herds of elephant. The last 2 nights are spent in the beautiful Moremi NP,encompassed by the channels of the Okavango Delta.
Game viewing in both Parks is superb with regular lion sightings and with a but of luck – wild dogs aswell.

Day 6 : Okavango Delta Lodge.
Take scenic flight from Xakanaxa airstrip in the Moremi NP to Kanana Camp, set in a private concession in the southern Delta. Enjoy a night at this stunning tented camp before heading off camping again!. The accommodation is in large en suite tents set on private decks overlooking a large lagoon. An afternoon activity is offered choosing from a motorboat excursion, mokoro trip, fishing or game drives. Later that evening, you can take a night drive to view the nocturnal creatures.


Day 7& 8 : Okavango mokoro trail.
Set off early this morning on a 2 night mokoro trail with experienced poler guides. The camp assistants will go ahead and set up a fly camp on one of the islands complete with fully equipped tents, shower and toilet tents. Sumptious meals are prepared over the coals by the staff and drink served. Relax and watch the sun set with the sound of nearby hippos!

Day 9 :Maun
Return to Kanana Camp in the morning and fly back to Maun. On arrival you are met and transferred to Motsentsela Tree Lodge, a great luxury tented Lodge set on a game farm just outside of Maun and the prefect place to relax after your safari before heading home.

Day 10 : Transfer to airport for onward flight.
