Day 1: Maun.
You will be met at Maun airport and transferred to Motsentsela Lodge. The lodge accommodates only 18 guests and is situated on a small game farm on the outskirts of Maun, an ideal place to rest and get acclimatised after your long international flight. Guests can relax and catch up on rest, or take one of the three marked walking trails in search of the numerous Bird and animal species present on the farm.


Day 2 & 3: Magadikgadi Pans/Kalahari
Depart with road transfer for approx 1½ hours to Mena al Kwena Camp, perched on the edge of the Boteti Dry River Bed with views of the Magadikgadi National Park. The scenery in this area is not so ‘lunar landscape’ and actually more like the low bush scrub and trees of the Central Kalahari. This camp has a marvellous vantage point being raised up on small cliff above the river gorge. Client can gaze down at a water hole where hundreds of Zebra, Wilderbeest as well as Lion and Elephant come to drink. There is a great hide within the cliff wall for game viewing as well. Accommodation is in bedded tents with stunning views and each with a private reed ablutions (shower and flush toilet) adjacent to the tent (not en-suite) Activities are game drives, bush walks and visits to the nearby village for a cultural tour. Day 4 & 5: Chief’s Island
We take a mid morning transfer back to Maun airport for a 15 minute flight to a rustic tented camp on the edge of Chief’s Island. Your overnight accommodation is in 3 metre ‘walk in’ Dome tents set on low wooden decks and covered with a reed shelter. Each dome tent has 2 camp beds, bedding and towels. Ablutions are ‘al fresco’ close to your tent (not ensuite) All meals are taken in the dining area overlooking the pools of the Delta. Activities are mokoro excursions and bush walks led by local experienced guides. All meals and activities, cash bar


Day 6, 7 & 8: Kasane
After breakfast , take an 1½ hour scenic flight to the town of Kasane where you will be based for the next 3 nights. On arrival in Kasane you are met and transferred to The Garden Lodge guest house. This is a charming and friendly guest house based on the banks of the Chobe River. Rooms are en-suite. Activities offered are game drives, boat cruises, mokoro excursions and fishing. All meals and activities, cash bar.


Day 9 – The tour finishes after breakfast.

Dinner, bed and breakfast at Motsentsela Tree Lodge
Inter camp flights and road transfers.
Meals and activities at Lodges in Okavango Delta and Kasane.
Air Botswana flight Maun to Kasane.
Not included:
Cash bar and extras at all Lodges apart from Mena al Kwena where drinks are included.
