This itinerary is great for a family holiday and prices are based on a family of 4 persons with 2 adults and 2 children under 12(minimum age 6).

At the Okavango Lodge and on safari – parents are encouraged to share a tent with small children and emphasis is placed on safety. The guide will give a full safety briefing at the start of the safari.

The mobile camping safari is on a participation level which is taken in a customized 4WD open sided vehicle with driver guide and assistant. Accommodation is in 2 metre Dome tents with mattresses and bedding.

Public campsites with ablutions are used and some private campsites area also used where a shower and toilet tent will be put up.

Some client participation is required when setting up camp and with camp chores. Hearty meals are cooked over the fire by the guide and assistant and clients are encouraged to join in. Drinks are not included and clients must arrange beforehand.

Day 1 & 2: Okavango Delta
Arrive Maun and take a short 15 minute scenic flight over the southern Delta to Oddballs Camp, situated on the border with Chief’s island. This is a rustic tented camp with accommodation in Large walk in Dome tents with mattresses and bedding, set on raised decks. Reed ablution blocks are located close to the tents with basic toilet and showers. Activities are mokoro excursions to explore the channels of the Delta and guided bush walks on the islands,

Day 3-8 :On safari in Moremi & Chobe.
Depart Oddballs and fly into Moremi NP and meet up with your safari crew for the 6 night Participation camping safari through Moremi, Savuti and Chobe NP.
During the safari , take morning and afternoon game drives and view the fantastic wildlife. You should hope to see lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe amongst many others and in Savuti, we hope to view the large elephant and buffalo herds.

Day 9, 10 : Livingstone, Vic Falls.
Transfer across to Livingstone, Zambia and spend 2 nights at the comfortable 3 star Zambezi Sun Hotel, a great base to explore the area and take some of the activities on offer. The hotel is set on the banks of the Zambezi River and offers unlimited accerss to the Falls. There is a tour desk at the hotel to book the various activities.

Day 11 : Transfer to airport for onwards journey
